Grandma's surprised bday!!!!

The highlight for this day(sunday) was...the performance thing..sounds cool?? not really. It was last minute...my siblings and i didn't want to do it...its weird in front of sooo many relatives we don't even talk to much..haha.
We did mamma mia in our version..changed the words..added chinese..silly..fun yet silly.hahaha.
I am NOT gonna post the lyrics up...kekekeke...
Overall, we did okay. we enjoyed it. looking at the paper and not the people..=)
Most of all, my grandma was soo happy..she was smilling non-stop hahaha...then, every single relative ther had to hug or kiss her...hehehe..she was soo happy...i thank God for her..though she nags a lot..hehe....a day, probably one 1 the best days of her life to see a whole big family on her 81st birthday!!!!!

So you people who can drive i'm sure u know how "fast" i was moving...hilarious!!!!

I went there today, i didn't know what to expect...the good thing about today was God sent me a friend =)...she's a friend from primary school..She came alone too so we were happy we had someone we knew...phew!!! we talked a lot about how it was 5 years ago and how some of them are lately since they were in the same school. It was really a great time. I enjoyed the time with her. Hours in the room wasn't as bad this time. The instructor, Mr Vijay had showed us parts of the enjin and its functions..pretty cool!!!! I could have been brave and got 2o bucks!!!! oh well...haha
It was a productive class. He even told us how mechanics try to cheat our money nowadays...hehehe hopefully i'll remember what i've learnt today so that i won't be cheated when i send 'my future car' for service...it's pretty hard to fall asleep in his class cause he shouts when he wants to focus on certain points which is really funny.

So after that, we had to go outdoors for the next session. yay no more butt pain!! haha..it started to drizzle. It's been raining everyday here =(..i prayed and it didn't rain!! there was a very slight drizzle once in a while which was good because it was windy and cooling..thank you God!!!!!
The guy was really nice. There were 7 of us in my group. He gave each of us a try to drive!!!!! oooo i was sooo excited!!! 3 of them tried before so they went first. Then it was my turn. Was really enthusiastic about it so they let me go first..hahaha so in a way i'm the 'test subject'. Everyone sat at the back while the instructor sat on my left to explain how everything is.

Cutting it short a lil', i.......stalled before starting...hahahaha...yes yes....twice!!!!!!! my goodness...hehe..everything else was great but that. kekeke. Anyway, he was really patient and he guided me. So far, no problems with U-turn((turning like crazy or i bang the lorry)), signals ((just that i forget to off it)) and pedal handling ((i was scared so i did it slowly which was smooth...phew!!!!))...the one thing i don't really get is turning. I tend to turn for too long at curves...hmm..

Other than all that i was happy and proud of myself im alive!!!!!!!!! okay i won't die la since the speedometre hardly even moved...hahaha. All that was in my head was "fun!!!!!!!!!!! i wanna do it agaaiiiin!!!"...hehe. Me is happy!!!! =)...

The road there had a lot of lubang. The instructor was pretty happy at the beginning cause i managed to avoid a big hole. I didn't like the bumpy feelings.

Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm just so syok sendiri for that today...drive drive drive!!! hehehe...i hope i'll be a good driver..really. My mum said jokingly, "i'll make sure you don't need to put scratches on my car" this morning. hehehe. I do hope so.

I'm tired. And i gotta go to a relative's house tonight to have a surprise birthday for my grandma...my dad made my siblings and i 'perform' something....oh my goodness...((daddy, just cause it's fun for you to watch, we have to suffer)). Plus, i'm 17+ already....a dance??? no way...sing somemore?? yorrrrr....i hope not many will be there...haih...okiess...byebye

*God, thank you that you gave me that opportunity today and for the clear space without cars nearby.

It's gonna be another long tiring day for me..hope it'll be okay tomorrow...alone..haizz..i wi'll not blame him..hahaha...okies, gonna need all the rest i can get =)..

Mirror mirror on the wall

The sky is grey at noon today. I overslept till 11am…

It’s really cooling outside because of the dark clouds.

As usual, since I don’t have the modem with me during the daytime, I turn on my laptop to listen to music. For the fun of it =)…

I looked into the mirror today, to observe and see that I’m no lil’ girl anymore…

My hair is long which needs a trim and I was planning on doing it up abit when my friend would be free to take me.

I also smile and see how much I’ve changed since primary school. Pictures of me when I was little in my room looked like a cute lil’ girl which I’ll never look like again. Even so, I don’t think I look like a girl who just finished high school…

My eyes have dark shades underneath. I think they’re there to stay.

The small, light scar on my neck still remains. Memories of paintball. Haha.

I smile again, and stuck my tongue out...the small, playful girl in me will never leave…I hope.

This is me. It’s who I like to be. Though I tend to envy those around me. The more I try to think and behave like them, the more I feel self-conscious. I hope that for the rest of my life, people with love me for who this person is. These people will be my strength.

Bored when i'm at home =)

Today is one day after passing undang haha...still am happy =)...but its been a boring day anyway cause i was at home the whole day..
I watched 'journey to the center of the earth' to pass time...i laughed at certain parts..its kinda weird laughing out loud when you're watching the movie all alone...hahaha..
Anyway, i did my piano homework...lots more to do.haizz. look through more college leaflets.
I managed to start reading the book i got from pastor choon meow. I'd flipped it a few times just to see what it looks like inside...and only today i realized a note at the first page...i read it...nice short message. Surprisingly, it was signed by Ps soon hock...the first thing that came to my mind was...Jamie...yeah i missed her..i was surprised the note was written by her dad...hmm...
So i flipped to page one..the title struck me....it said "When God is Silent"...i was..pretty shocked. I've been wondering about that recently. since i was choosing my course for college and all..and i talked to my friend about it just yesterday or the day before...hehe...im "wow" now..i guess its pretty clear what i need to think about......"nothing to worry about"...i think..guess i need to be quiet to listen to God sometimes than to be caught up with my worries =). sigh.

H-A-P-P-E-E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today i passed my undang!!!!!!!!!! woo-hooo!!!! hahaha okay la so im a lil' crazy today already...my friend said i'm queen today because i passed =).
Here's the story...i slept at...1am..yes i was scared but so what?? ive never done it before so its not a bad reason okay?? hehe. My friend sent me a prayer before i slept and i had wishes from others too....maybe i made them worry...yorrr i dunno i was just...overreacting yeah but i really...haih..oh well...over already haha...
Woke up at 6.45am to get ready. Transport was supposed to come at 8.30am...so i had time to run through some notes haha..my sis tested me a lil bit.
When i got there, the place was all white..hospital?? naahhh...didn't have the hospital scent. hehe. So, the 6 of us who came together in the van took seats...one by one we were called to give our IC and scan thumbprint...and for those first timers had to take a picture on the spot!!!! haha...weirrddd..
So anyway when we went in, i got the number 10 clipped together with my IC and Smartcard...((i remember pong telling me his 'story' so..haha i did the right thing this time))..i sat at the computer and started..SLOWLY...i was still nervous for some reason and i checked every number i typed for my IC...haha...
1st part : colour blidness test - i finished it...and i CHECKED it...like i said, i was scared so..haha..den i decided to move on so i pressed the 'tamat' button and.........8/8!!!!!!!!! haha PHEW!!!
2nd part : i dunno what to call it.......reading??haha..so that was...easy since im already 17+ ((i like 17)) so i got 5/5...PHEW PHEW!!!
3rd part ((the part where i get super nervous)) **why is that??its just undang..so anyway...i did it very carefully..always looking at the time which never stopped ticking by...eee pressure...haha..i checked it after i was done...and since i still had time and no one went out yet i checked another round, roughly this time...
then...at last i finished...and i had nothing else to do...hardly anyone went out of the room...so so so i decided to click the 'tamat' button... and...**heart beating...** BBOOOMMM!!!
hahaha nah not so dramatic...but my eyes went straight to find numbers and i saw 42/50..."owh okay...i expected close to that"...there were a handful that i wasn't very confident so...oh well..passing mark..then i looked above that...and was...WAAAT??? hahaha i think i almost jumped and started screaming...hahaha but i didn't...i stared at the screen for a minute reading every single detail to affirm myself...i was..all smiles..i got an amazing result!!!! ((which means i wasn't looking at the right numbers haha)) not perfect la but i was happy with it since i didn't expect it do very well actually..hehe..i got up and left the room..one of the first somemore..i was in there for 30mins and 14 seconds i think...yup..i got my sheet of paper, sat down((it was 10.10am)) and kept smiling...i tried to hold it....i was so happy =) hehe...i thought of what everyone said to me...Jamie, chee woh, joshua, david, amanda, pong, sarah, eunice....and more..ahahaha everything was playing in my head that i had to smile...giggling inside..haha
Three of them from the same van as i had failed...one of them was actually repeating it...poor guy...i hope he'll pass the next time...
When i got home i called my mum and told her...she was kinda busy at work but she said 'good'...oh well..then i called chee woh..he didn't pick up...awhile later he called and okay since i haven't reali got the chance to express my joy, i screamed over the phone...again, i overreacted...but i was happy!! really happy!! i kept doing that over and over again..hahaha..and he told me i actually beat him at it...then as he promised, i get to have a free meal!!! hehe....
since sarah was gonna take my out too, i suggested they take me for dessert la..i couldn't make up my mind where to have dinner...hahaha....
and so...my very very happy day....happiest for the week since i don't have to go through that book again..and i had a nice makan coming along...and i was happy to move on to do driving before i get too caught up in my studies...oh and as david told me to do, yeah i had to put up a picture on msn whenever i've passed my undang or driving...hahaha.....joyyyy...

After i've settled down a lil, i decided to read today's Proverbs..i haven't been reading it lately...hmm..so i saw my dad's bible on the table and turned to that chapter...to my surprise, the title of that proverb was this "The Rewards of Wisdom"...i thought "God you really made my day!!!"...hahaha...it seems kinda funny in a way..hehe...

Sunday.
Went to the market with mummy. Rushed. Went to church for first service. Went home.
Had branch at home and then left to Sheraton Hotel for New Zealand fair. It was productive, lots of info. Daddy wants me to go to university of Otago in Dunedin. Its all the way south of NZ...cold. During summer, its above 15, less than 20 degrees if i got it right...wanna guess winter?? haha..its pretty far away, where Jamies is...cost of education is cheap but the flight is expensive. Exchange rate is 1.9 now. Daddy is happy. I may be going there since HELP university college has a tie with them for many many years in phsycology.
Parking was RM5...as we were leaving, dad told me to grab a pencil/s...i dunno why but i took two..then i asked him why as we walked to the car and he said " i paid five bucks for the parking, u better take something from the hotel..........Reaction?? my mum and i burst out laughing and she said i should have taken more pencils...hahahaha..

Then, daddy sent me to 1u where the others were for lunch. Sat down for awhile and we made a move. Chee woh sent Esther and Agnes back to change..then dropped Ljuan and Rae at UM to get ready while he takes me home to get my stuff and dropped by his house to get his...messy plans?yup!!! haha...but i got to play with his doggy..cocker spaniel..same breed as Rischa..=( i miss her..that dog really reminded me of her so much...this dog's name was Tabby((dunno the spelling actually))..i got to pat it for awhile..after barking at me, it came closer and closer...it was nice to pat a cocker spaniel again...i really miss mine...sobs...pretty dog..amazing lil companion..

So anyway we went for sports. Played frisbee!!! i sucked at volleyball and badminton wasn't my favourite either. We frisbee people were nomads that day. First we played at the open carpark. There, i got to see how Chee woh jump started a car...oooo...wires...hahaha jakun...but it was interesting...When it rained, we moved to the covered carpark. A lil dark but we managed...****** dented a car!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha ((she'll probably kill me for posting this up))..i scared la...haha..funny...Thirdly, we moved back upstairs to the basketball court...played outside the court since there were people playing there. We figured it was too cramp so adjent to..the squash court!!!! hahaha...bigger. and more echo. Whenever the frisbee hits the glass.....ouch ouch ouch...the noise..ooopss..later 2 more joined in..getting cramp again but we continued anyway...suddenly, Jin Ern came and said that one badminton court was empty so we ALL moved there...our last stop..hahahaha..

We bathed there before we went for dinner. Ended up in Manhattan Fish Market in Ikano..haha..Esther, Agnes and i shared a dish for 2 servings..it was enough..haha..i had my bottom-less iced peach tea...me likey..=)...sarah ate at home so she ordered brownie with ice-cream...yummy...it was warm and moist...with pink cold strawberry ice-cream on top...hehe..she said she knows where to get really good ones so she'll take me there someday haha...
