The water pump burst-ed.
I was happily doing my assignment when flowing water in the wall sounded like someone was using the bathroom, which I ignored.
Then, water dripped on me, I looked up and...."Mum! there's water leaking!!!". Everyone rushed to clear all electronics, which became Everything at the computer study area except the shelves. Everyone pulling wires, carrying computers, adapters, CDs, printers and more wires twisted all over. Talk about speed shifting.
Soon, everyone in the house was upstairs moving about bringing more towels and pails to soak up the water. If my house was MOMA, it would have been interesting to see water dripping uncontrollably out of ceiling fans and lights. It wasn't as funny yesterday, no. =)
Water from ceilings and walls, everyone drenched from soaking up water while being 'showered' and after awhile, I managed to take pictures. Well, it's also for the landlord to see, not just being SS.
But in everything, thank God :
-That it started at the computer area or I wouldn't have realized before it was too late
-That of All places,our furniture, shelves and boxes of stuff weren't directly under any lights and fans, or they all would have gotten drenched and there will be more shifting of stuff needed
-Although dad wasn't around, my aunty and my other aunty's maid were here to help. Imagine mum and 3 kids without help...oh man.
-The water was done flowing before the whole plaster ceiling decides to fall apart (the ceiling looked like it had water droplets as pimples!)
