Good friday

TA-DA!!!

CF today was awesome. So reflective. It was called :

"Remembering His journey"

or something like that

We were told, "go to the 7 stations set up and take time to reflect, pray and spend time imagining how it was like, IN SILENCE...and Honestly, when those instructions were given i wasn't sure what people were thinking. I mean, for Christians it may be understandable but i tried to think "what if it was my first time in CF?". I was a little worried on how the Silence would be.

But...i guess when it started, everything looked amazing. I'm not sure if some went out but when i took a look at the room, people were gather at stations, sitting, standing and kneeling. It felt intense. They looked like they just set themselves in a specific mood.

As i went on my own, i felt so into the situation. Not all of them hit me, but i was amazed how amazing people are. Just by setting up small corners of props and verses and instructions, we try to picture how it was like. Staring into that corner, the scene meant something. Hearing the nails being hammered to the cross belonging one of the stations once in awhile was like a continuous wake up call for me.

I couldn't be at 100% focused due to the surrounding of people walking around...compared to if i was alone and given how much time i wanted. But it was good. No need for speakers and sermons and retelling the whole story (which may be needed for new believers) but this was different and refreshing. Thank God for FES. They are truly remarkable. This ministry is greatly used by God in soo many ways. I came home today thanking God for a great time of reflection and reliving scenes in my mind..
